A special programme of evening lectures taking a look at Scottish history and culture is set to take place at The National Wallace Monument in March and April.

Hillsborough Castle and Gardens, County Down (Belfast), has exclusively shared its newly re-purposed events spaces to over 100 guests from the events and hospitality sector at a grand preview event.
The showcase on Tuesday 26 February, was anopportunity for Hillsborough Castle to introduce the venue to new clients ahead of the official public launch in April 2019. This follows a major five-year £20 million investment project by independent charity Historic Royal Palaces to transform this historic site into a major visitor attraction.
New for 2019 is the chance to see history come to life as Henry VIII’s six wives descend on Penshurst Place & Gardens for Mother’s Day on 31st March. The period costume group from Tudor Legacies will perform its ‘Six Wives’ presentation in the Baron’s Hall, as well as wander the house and grounds in character to talk with visitors.
